Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, with it’s theme “Use and Abuse of Technology,” this day reminds us to be judiscious with our freedom to use the technology that we have.
According to Antonio Guterres, Secreteray General of the United Nations “Human trafficking is a horrific crime and an all-out assault on people’s rights, safety and dignity,” therefore needs to be given attention and action.
